Burning problem

I am facing one problem.
1) After intercourse I have burning sensation in my urinalcave and I am not gettin sleep properly due to this problem, since one year.
2) my wife also tells she has same problem after intercourse.
3) once she had urinal infection.
Now I am alone in KUWAIT but same problem I am facing. I do not have any sexual contacts with any body.

Since you are experiencing burning sensation in the urethra after intercourse (we presume, ejaculation) for over one year, we suspect this to be due to inflammation of the prostate gland (prostatitis). In some people this inflammation is due to infectious organisms and in some it is unexplained. In either case it requires prolonged treatment with drugs which can penetrate the prostate gland. Chronic (long-standing) prostate inflammation does not easily yield to antibiotic therapy. Though it is not a life threatening or otherwise serious, it causes some discomfort to the patient and makes him restless.

However, your symptoms can also occur from a variety of other conditions, for ex., urinary tract infection, bladder infection, infection in the testes and epididymis, tuberculosis of the genitalia, a stricture in the urinary passage etc. Please, therefore, consult a urologist for diagnosis and treatment. Your wife also needs some investigations and therapy, because usually, she will also harbor the same microorganisms that you may be possessing.

Is homosex wrong ?

Is homosex wrong ?

The current opinion is that homosexuality is a variation of normal human sexual preference. The sex scientists no longer consider this an abnormal or pervert behavior, though the society has not yet fully come to terms with the scientific opinion.                                                                                                                                                                        Top

Penis enlargement

What about penis enlargement treatment? actually it is possible? I am 27.

Yes, the penis can be enlarged in girth and length through a surgical procedure called phalloplasty, though the results are often dubious and short lived. Though it is being practiced in many parts of the world today, majority of the urologists do not endorse the procedures in vogue.

In one such procedure, which aims at increasing the girth of the penis, fat from the lower abdominal wall is suctioned out and injected beneath the loose skin of the penis. This gives an illusion of girth enlargement. Because the fat is injected into an area that the nature has not planned to, the fat eventually dies (fat necrosis) taking the penis back to its earlier size. In addition, scar tissue develops underneath the penile skin; and the surface of the penis becomes nodular and lumpy, leading to total disfigurement.

Another technique intended to increase the length of the penis involves cutting of a ligament (elastic band of fibrous tissue) that suspends the erection-cylinders of the penis from the pubic bone. Under normal circumstances, this ligament keeps the erect penis steady during the vigorous movements of sexual intercourse. So here also, there is no actual lengthening of the penis.

At the present time, we believe, that there are no satisfactory procedures - medical or surgical - that actually increase the size of the penis on a permanent basis and without adverse effects.

Tight foreskin

I am 22. i had a problem with the foreskin of my penis. it was tight and did not come up when there is an erection. when i manually pull it back it used to come. this problem is from my childhood so 3 months back my docter performed circumcision but he cut only a small part of the foreskin.he said now it will automatically come on its own .but that is not the case .if i did not pull the foreskin back (or even touch it for long time) i am feeling a pain in the foreskin because the skin is becoming tight. the skin is comming to a little distance not even to the middle of the front part of the penis.
i asked him but he is saying that it will come. My parents have arranged my marriage. so please tell me what might be the problem. and if so what is the solution.

Apply a bit of water-based jelly or some other lubricant and try to pull the skin backwards gently till it stretches well enough to go fully backwards. Do this on a daily basis for several days. If it does not help or gives rise to pain, have it removed through circumcision, a minor surgery done as an office procedure, by every general surgeon.                                        Top

Circumcision

I am 24. The foreskin on my penis does not move back as it is sort of closed at the tip of my penis. What is the solution to this. I hear that a minor surgery will take care of this problem. Pls. give me details abt the surgery like how long it will take and how long does it take to recover. Also will there be any change in the level of sexual feelings. Also can you suggest any clinic in Delhi which can take care of this problem.                                                                                                                                                              -New Delhi

This condition in which the skin covering the tip (head) of the penis cannot be retracted is called 'phimosis'. In a typical case of phimosis, the urine comes through a tiny opening at the tip of the foreskin. Yes - this requires a minor surgery called circumcision, in which the skin surrounding the head of the penis (glans) is excised. Any general surgeon will do it. It's an office procedure, requiring no hospital stay. You need to get your surgical dressing changed every day for about 6 days. Meanwhile you can attend to your daily chores normally.

If left untreated phimosis leads to accumulation of cheesy deposits under the foreskin, which in turn attract bacteria and therefore infections and further complications. Phimosis may also interfere with sexual intercourse. However, neither phimosis nor circumcision will interfere with sexual thoughts, feelings or responses.                                                                       Top

First ejaculation

Problem: i am wondering when will i experience my first ejaculation i am worried there is something wrong. I am 13 years old.                                                                                                                                           -yumaha

The age at first ejaculation can vary considerably. It can occur as early as 11 years of age or as late as 17 years, the average being 13.5 yrs. At 13, therefore, you need not feel anxious about this event. It would do good if you consult a sex counselor or even your family physician and discuss your concerns with him.

Fishy smell after sex

I am 16. I have had sex for the first time 2 weeks ago, it was all normal but i have noticed my penis started to smell very fishy and not very nice, i have not had a circumstision and i am uncut, its quite hard to clean under my forskin as it is very very sensitive and awkward.                                                                             -Peterborough

Obviously your uncut foreskin has given shelter to some infectious organisms, which you may have contracted during sex, or due to your inability clean the part underneath the foreskin. They give rise to fishy smell, inflammation, and if neglected to other complications. Consult your physician immediately and take treatment. Normally you should be able to pull the loose skin covering the head (glans) of your penis fully backwards till it settles in the groove behind the head. If you cannot do so, ask your doc if circumcision is necessary.

Make it a habbit to pull the skin backwards daily and clean the glans (head) thoroughly with water.                                 Top

Testis size

What is the average size of the human testis? Does variation in size matter in sperm production? I did not consult anyone in this regard...nor any test done.

Research exploring the relationship between testis size and sperm production indicate that in those men with normal sperm production the length of the testis should be greater than 4 cms. and volume greater than 20 ml.

On an average, the adult testis measures 4.5 cm x 2.8 cm. Minor variations in size may not show noticeable changes in spermatogenesis, but on the whole, decreased testis size or volume is often associated with impaired sperm production.

Please remember that spermatogenesis depends on many other factors, so that men with identical testis size do not necessarily produce sperm with identical properties.                                                                                                    Top

Condom a must

I am 27. i am in love with a married woman . she is mother of four. i knew her since last 10 yrs. recently i expressed my desire to have sex with her. She wants to have sex with me every time without condom. what do you suggest?                                                                                                                                                 -Hyderabad

Vast human experience has always proved that sex outside marriage may bring momentary pelasure, but, in the long run, it usually proves to be detrimental to the stable relationship with a life-time partner. It is also associated with numerous social, psychological and health problems including STIs and HIV infection. Since you asked us, our suggestion is that better stay away from sex with anyone other than your life partner; But if you must indulge in sexual activity outside marraige, it must be with a condom only, irrespective of who the partner is.                                                                                               Top
